Does your restaurant take reservations?
Reservations are not needed at Ashley Mac’s Kitchen, as we are a fast-casual restaurant. We have plenty of seating and tables that are first come, first served.
What time do you open?
Check out our hours for each location. Our company culture is focused on a work/life balance and helping our team and our community enjoy the moments that matter. Therefore, we are closed every Sunday and all major holidays to offer our team time with their familes during these special moments.

Does Ashley Mac’s Kitchen offer vegetarian or gluten-free options?
Yes! We offer a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free choices. These options are indicated on our menu with a gf/v, and our staff can also help by recommending dishes to suit your needs.
If you are catering or ordering food and need gluten-free food, call ahead of time, or let us know on the order. Our staff can make the necessary adjustments to accommodate your food for you.
I have an allergy, what should I do?
Ashley Mac’s Kitchen takes allergen concerns seriously. Our regular menu is designed with allergen information in mind, and our staff is trained to provide guidance and suggest suitable options based on your dietary needs.
In addition, Ashley Mac’s Kitchen makes food to order, so let us know about the allergy and we will make the necessary adjustments to accommodate. For example, if you tell us that you need a dairy-free meal, we will make sure we don’t put cheese on your meal. We can also accommodate nut allergies! Make sure to tell us so that we can make the necessary adjustments.
Please inform our staff about your allergies or dietary preferences, and we'll ensure your meal is prepared safely. In addition, please note that while we make every effort to accommodate allergen concerns, cross-contamination may still occur, as our kitchen does contain dairy, nuts, gluten, etc.
I see gluten-free options on your menu but do you prepare them in separate containers?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate specific dietary restrictions. Our chefs are skilled at customizing dishes to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. Since Ashley Mac’s Kitchen makes the food to order, we can package any meal or item separately for you!
We take precautions to prevent cross-contamination. However, our kitchen handles a variety of ingredients, and there's always a possibility of trace amounts. If you have severe allergies, please note that our kitchen is not a fully wheat-free, nut-free or dairy-free environment. That being said, we are happy to change our gloves and package your meal separately from others in your order. Just ask! We will do our best to make sure each meal is safe for you.
Can your cafes accommodate large groups?
Yes, we can! We do not reserve areas of our cafes, but you are welcome to come and reserve an area for your group before they arrive. Please note that lunchtime is our busiest time.
Riverchase is our largest dining room and can accommodate larger groups. Homewood is also great for groups–our large patio is a great option!
We ask that you place large group to-go orders through the AMK Catering department. This allows us to ensure prompt service and a seamless experience for everyone.
Do you have a private room?
Ashley Mac’s Kitchen does not offer a private room at any of our locations.
Do you have a kid's menu?
Yes, we do have a kid's menu. Kids can choose a grilled cheese sandwich, a turkey & cheese sandwich, a mac & cheese bowl, grilled chicken strips, or our signature chicken salad. Each is served with a side and a triple chocolate brownie, and even comes with a fun pack of Wikki Stix!
I just got take out from Ashley Mac’s Kitchen and there’s a mistake in my order. Can you fix it?
Yes, we can absolutely fix your order. We apologize for any inconvenience and are here to make it right. Here’s what you can do:
If you're not at the store and are contacting us after receiving your takeout, please use our convenient "Contact Us" form on our website. Choose the option "Restaurant Feedback," and your message will be directed straight to the General Manager. We'll promptly address the issue and work to provide a solution that satisfies your needs.
If you're still in the store, please feel free to come talk to us at the counter. Our friendly staff is here to assist you and ensure that your order is corrected promptly. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want to make sure you leave with the right order!

How much advance notice do you need to make a large take-out order?
We prefer at least a day’s notice on large orders, which is ideal to allow our team to prepare and check every order. Without the heads up, we are unable to guarantee that we can fill last minute large orders, but we sure will try to accommodate as much as we can!
The more time you can provide us, the better! We aim to exceed your expectations, and having ample time enables us to meticulously craft your order and make sure everything is perfect.
Why can’t I choose an earlier time online for my large to-go order?
We appreciate your eagerness to schedule an earlier pickup time for your large to-go order. Here's why you might not see that option–our commitment to quality means that larger orders require more time for preparation. We want to ensure that every item is freshly made and meets our high standards before it's ready for pickup.
If you're planning a large to-go order, providing us with a day's notice allows us to work with you to have your order ready when you need it. Using our catering department for large orders, allows us to do our best with the team that is prepared to handle bigger events and orders.

Do you offer delivery? I don’t see you on Doordash or Grubhub.
Yes, we offer delivery! We partner with Doordash to use their drivers but the order is placed directly through the Ashley Mac's Kitchen website! You can order online, and all you will have to pay is the delivery fee, which is typically around $7.49.
Anything on our menu can be delivered, including the Cafe and Market items. You could even have a cookbook delivered! We use the fleet of doordash drivers, so while the tips go to the DoorDash driver, this enables us to directly resolve any issues that might arise. If you have any issues, please let us know so that we can resolve them!
Please note, that we prefer large to-go orders to be processed as a ”Catering order” so we can give the tip to the team that prepares the food! You can place a catering order here.
Where can I get nutritional info about your menu?
We’re committed to providing you with the information that you need for informed dietary choices.
As part of our rebranding efforts, we've added nutritional information to most of our Market items, which includes casseroles, sides, chicken salad, etc. You can find this information conveniently displayed alongside the heating instructions on each item.
We are in the process of getting this information on the menu for the cafes as well. If you have a question about something specific, reach out via the contact us form!
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. There is plenty of parking available. We want your visit to be as convenient as possible. Here's what you need to know about parking at our locations:
Our cafes offer plenty of parking options. However, please note that during the lunch rush, our cafes and parking lots can get quite busy. Rest assured, we've got you covered!
At our Homewood location, we offer a unique convenience – did you know that there is a parking deck located below the cafe? An elevator near our side entrance makes it easy to access. And the best part? It's absolutely free!
If you're visiting our downtown Birmingham location at the Pizitz Food Hall, you'll be pleased to know that it has its own dedicated parking deck as well. Parking is free for the first two hours of every visit.
Keep in mind that while we do offer parking at every cafe location, our Riverchase and Inverness locations can get crowded during peak lunch hours.
How can I check my Ashley Mac’s Kitchen Rewards balance?
Go to ashleymacs.com and click the rewards button and follow the prompts.
First, enter the email address associated with your account.
Check your email for a link to "View Rewards Transactions"

Do you sell e-gift certificates?
Yes. You can purchase e-gift certificates through the Ashley Mac’s Kitchen website or walk in any of our cafes and purchase one (or several!) Our e-gift certificates can be sent via email or by text. We suggest adding your information so you know when the recipient has opened their e-gift certificate.
Please make sure to tell your recipient that you are sending them an e-gift so they can be on the lookout. When someone receives an emailed e-gift card, the email is from:

If you’d like to check in person, feel free to come into any of our cafes and we can happily look it up for you.
Another option is to send us a message through the contact us page on our website. Please include important details, such as when you bought the gift card, the amount, and who the recipient is. This will help us locate your purchase quickly!
How do I check the balance of my physical gift card?
There are a couple of ways to check the balance of your Ashley Mac’s Kitchen gift card:
Use the QR code scanner on your phone to check the balance.
Walk into any cafe and we will be willing and able to check the balance for you!
Does Ashley Mac’s Kitchen cater?
Yes. Ashley Mac’s Kitchen offers catering. Whether you’re looking to cater a corporate meeting, office party, wedding or an at-home celebration, our team would love to make your next event delicious.
Discover a variety of salads, sides, and appetizers, including options like sausage balls and spinach dips. We also offer breakfast casseroles, salad trios, and a range of entrees such as poppyseed chicken, lemon rosemary chicken, beef stroganoff, and more. We just ask that your order is for a minimum of 10 people.
We offer delivery within 15 miles of our Cahaba Heights location, or pickup from our 4 main cafes, depending on your menu selection.
Can I rent out your space for a private event?
If you are curious about renting our space for a special celebration, corporate gathering, or something else, don’t hesitate to reach out to us about it! Some of our locations are available for rental after hours. Our Homewood location is an especially popular choice for private events. We even have a parking deck below with a convenient elevator right near our side entrance, making access easy for your guests.

I’ve never been to an Ashley Mac’s Kitchen before, what are the most popular items?
Our most popular salads are the Baby Bleu and the Mandarin Orange Salad. The Grilled Chicken Club and Turkey Bacon Club are our most popular sandwiches. Sandwiches come with a choice of fresh fruit, broccoli slaw, greek pasta, or chips. The Salad Trio is a customer favorite, being able to choose 3 of our salads/sides. Customers who visit us on Friday or Saturday have the option to try our Weekend Special: The Andy Mac Burger which has been a fan favorite since its introduction in 2020.
What’s the difference between cafe, market, catering, sweets and wholesale?
Ashley Mac’s Cafe is where our hot and fresh food is prepared daily. You can place an order online or in person. Ashley Mac’s Kitchen Market items are our frozen take-home casseroles that can be cooked in your own oven! Ashley Mac’s Catering offers many options for your event needs. Give us a call and we can talk you through your needs for any event, small or large. Ashley Mac’s Sweets are the best desserts in town. Try our famous Strawberry Cake slices, our chocolate cake slices, mini assorted cupcakes, or our seasonal pies and cookies. Ashley Mac’s Kitchen Wholesale sells our Signature Chicken Salad, Classic Pimento Cheese, Sour Cream Biscuits, Poppyseed Chicken, and select sweets in our local Piggly Wiggly and Ashley Mac’s Kitchen Markets.
